“ We’ve had many great meals at the GC grill house. My favorite is the chop steak, mashed potatoes and gravy with fried Okra. They’re consistent, and clean. Wonderful service, Nicki took such great care of my family. She was kind and knowledgeable of the menu and absolutely happy and grateful for her job. We are grateful for her service and appreciate the GC Grill Lake Placid. 4 entrees. with 4 teas. 2 teens, and parents under 100 before tip. Great place and foods quality is excellent too. ”

“ Wanted to try this place out during a recent visit to Lake Placid. Seen where Golden Corral was trying out a new concept restaurant and this was the only one so far. I liked the inside and decor, thought it looked good. Went during lunch, the menu was decent and the prices were fair. Got the meatloaf, which didn't blow my mind, but was just as good as any I've had before. All three of us were pleased with our meals and had leftovers to take home. ”

“ I never dreamed in a million years I would be giving you this chain of five star review.. this is something different altogether. The model here is a cook to order model but only the salad bar in soup remaining buffet style. Everything was prepared perfectly, even with some local dishes added. The service was impeccable and the place meticulously clean. Have to give credit where credit is due when doing reviews. 10/10 ”

“ Continually a favorite for an 8oz filet cooked blue just the way I love it every time. The gator tail is awesome, chicken livers, salad bar, rolls with the cinnamon butter, 2 for 1 drinks at this location, there's stupendous waitresses and other staff. I can't say enough great things about this location. There's several waitresses named Hannah and they're all pleasant as can be. Would continue to dine here as long as I'm in this area. I love this restaurant ”

“ Keep in mind that this Golden Corral is not the buffet you're used to. It is a steak house. The food was excellent. We had apps, entee, and dessert. The sirloin melted in your mouth. I got a bad cut of tenderloin, but the manager made it right with us. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back. ”

“ Stopped here for the first time on a Friday at 6 p.m., and the place was packed. Short wait for a table, but quickly waited on by Allie. Ruby had the butterflied shrimp with a salad and mac & cheese. I went with the usual French Onion Soup, Prime Rib medium rare, and a loaded baked potato with a side of sauteed mushrooms. It seemed to take a bit longer for the entrees to come out, but that may be because of the negative entertainment distraction: a young girl nearby who was noisy and standing on the table at one point. The Hop Life draft from LaBelle Brewery was excellent, as was the food. I liked that the bread in the soup was cubed, which made it easier to eat. We will be back! ”
